My main project was to design a business case template for the Capital Budgeting process to be used when presenting projects in global markets, exceeding $1 million in cost, to the CFO. Inspired from this project, I also developed a dashboard in OBIEE using information from GDW to display market sales at an individual retail shop level. As a small separate project, I supported the Amway North American affiliate by researching and gathering data on previous capital investments. Another small project I was involved with was to assist the Treasury department to consolidate signatory information for over 1,300 bank accounts to automate treasury process and increase global cash visibility.
I prepared individual income tax returns for over 200 clients and researched Federal, State, and Local tax laws. At the end of tax season, I filed tax extensions for business entities to extend their filing period.
My daily activities were to track the movement of up to 150 LTL, TL, and Volume shipments. This involved coordinating with carriers to reschedule missed pickups, locate lost freight, and record arrival and departure times of our clients’ freight.
As an intern, I Individually represented Staffing Inc. at the Michigan Works! job fair in front of over 600 job seekers. My daily work involved screening up to 50 individuals per day to ensure they meet hiring criteria. I Performed employment verification, reference checks, and drug tests on potential candidates.
